Personally Providence - African-American History on College Hill
Presented by Rhode Island Historical Society at John Brown House May 19, 2012 The Personally Providence Walking Tours provide a personal perspective of Providence history with a guest guide. This 90-minute walking tour celebrates the history of African Americans who lived on College Hill from 1701 to the present. Ray Rickman, a well known community leader, will lead a lively discussion centered on the people and historic buildings of Providence’s oldest neighborhood.

Tour The Steel Yard
Presented by The Steel Yard at The Steel Yard February 29, 2012 - Ongoing COME VISIT THE YARD...
Free public tours meet every Wednesday at noon in our office at 27 Sims Ave. We are located on the first floor of the brick building halfway down the street on the left.
They are a great way to find out more about our programs and facilities. The tours are given by a different staff member each week, and last between half to a full hour.
Please contact our office in advance for group tours.
