Historic photographs from the Providence Public Library Special Collection will be projected using an authentic magic lantern: an early slide projector that educated and entertained audiences before the beginning of cinema. "O Brother Man: The Art and Life of Lynd Ward" Screening
Presented by Providence Public Library at Providence Public Library - Central May 21, 2012 Lynd Ward is the father of the American graphic novel and one of the most prolific book illustrators and printmakers in the history of American art. This premiere screening of 217 Films’ new documentary “O Brother Man: The Art and Life of Lynd Ward” will be held Monday, May 21 at 6 pm in the Providence Public Library’s Auditorium.
