    Join Sojourner House and The Hive Archive for "Voices Unfold," an exhibition of expressive artist books by domestic violence survivors. Free and open to the public. "Voices Unfold" engaged clients of Sojourner House, a domestic violence shelter and advocacy center, in a six-month art experience led by Providence artist, Alyssa Holland Short. Alyssa worked directly with the women in Woonsocket and Providence to create expressive artist books with personal art and writing. “I am proud of finishing my book. I’m looking to life with love and flowers” - Sojourner House client “I didn’t believe that I was creative. Now I am proud of me and proud of my art.” -Sojourner House client Voices Unfold was made possible through support from the Rhode State Council on the Arts.
