Providence’s Foxpoint Marina is hosting the biggest Cinco de Mayo Outdoor Waterfront Fiesta in Rhode Island. Beginning at 11 a.m., guests can enjoy an all-day and night boardwalk block party bouncing between Lola’s Tequila Bar & Cantina and The Whiskey Republic.

During this fiesta, Lola’s famous $4 hand crafted margaritas and Corona bucket specials will be offered. The boardwalk will be lined with outdoor tents and games where the daring can embark on the Macho Nacho or Mustache Contests, with giveaways and prizes all day long.

Guests can enjoy the ocean breeze and sample the new spring food and cocktail menus from either or both restaurants. Lola’s fresh, vibrant cuisine features secret family recipes along with the latest creations by Executive Chef Jonathan Beres. Chef Jonathan developed the menu to be loud and full of flavor, and it is truly the perfect, refreshing Mexican fare for the holiday. Guests can also take a break from the outdoor festivities and enjoy a bite or cocktail inside Lola’s lively dining room, designed by HGTV/Food Network’s Taniya Nayak. The Whiskey Republic’s new spring menu offers a chance to veer away from the Mexican theme with some New England classics, seafood, wings, salads, sandwiches, pizza, burgers, and more.

Boaters can dock for free during this celebration, and the deck is pet-friendly. Fear not - for those who need a siesta, SleepAFloat is available on the Foxpoint Marina, equipped with key coded gates, a fully staffed office, and security to assure a safe night sleep or just a place to refuel for the rest of the party. There is no other neighborhood atmosphere like the Foxpoint Marina to drink, eat, and most importantly, celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
