Explore some of the museum's one million objects. (How? Look, touch, examine, listen, smell, discover) (Why these objects? Some are here because they’re being used in classes, others to show the diversity and depths of the collection) Discover the similarities and diversities of the world's cultures. (Why? Because it’s a way to understand ourselves and others.) Learn about the work of anthropologists and archaeologists. The Haffenreffer Museum's CultureLab offers opportunities for visitors to get a hands-on, in-depth experience with objects from the Museum's permanent collection. Come in to examine objects of interest, try one of our exploratory activities, or complete a class assigment; CultureLab is open for everyone.
