FUNDA means to teach and to learn in Zulu and Kiswahili. RIBS’ mission is to promote the awareness, appreciation, and application of Black storytelling through performance, educational, cultural, and historical experiences. Whether you are a kid, have a kid, or are a kid at heart, stories are for all of us, no matter what age, culture or experience. Join us!
12:30 - 2 pm: Barnard Room, 3rd Floor Intergenerational Storytelling Workshop with Lyn Ford This year’s workshop will be led by nationally recognized storyteller Lyn Ford. Lyn is a fourth-generation storyteller. A writer, published in storytelling magazines and newsletters, as well as teachers' enrichment books and story anthologies, she is also a recording artist of award-winning CDs and a Laughter Yoga leader.
2:30 pm: Auditorium Theater, 3rd Floor Family Storytelling Concert featuring RIBS tellers and invited guests. All invited to take part!
