    The 15th Annual RHODE ISLAND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL discovers and empowers maverick filmmakers and screenwriters. Held in Providence, and locations throughout the state of Rhode Island, the Academy-nominating RIIFF has risen to the top ranks among film festivals. Cited as one of the "Best International and Short Film Festivals in the United States," RIIFF is New England's largest film festival. The Festival is an extravaganza of special events, film screenings, VIP guests, industry seminars, celebrations, and an awards ceremony. The Festival's stellar programming, industry ties, and loyal audiences have made RIIFF a strategic and desirable platform for film premieres. Hundreds of independent filmmakers from around the world converge on the state's capital city making for an exciting and dynamic event. This summer’s festival is going to be August 9-14th.
