    As with our popular Summer Camp, Blithewold's April Aventure Camp for children emphasizes the interaction of plants, animals, humans and the environment. Campers will become detectives, unearthing a new nature mystery each day, through inquiry-based experiments, games, art projects, outdoor exploration, guest speaker presentations, crafts and activities that span multiple learning styles.

    Each day, campers will spend time indoors and outdoors, gaining a deeper understanding of our surrounding environment by learning about everything from weather patterns, aquatic habitats, animal adaptations, and the spring awakening of plants.

    The week will end with an Earth Day Family Fun Friday Celebration and a special 100th Birthday Party for Blithewold's largest Giant Seqouia!
