    On Saturday, November 20 at 8:00pm Music Director LARRY RACHLEFF and the Orchestra welcome back acclaimed young Violinist JENNIFER FRAUTSCHI who will perform the Barber Violin Concerto, op. 14. Barber’s Adagio for Strings, Muhly’s From Here on Out and Ravel’s La Valse complete this program.

    Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient violinist JENNIFER FRAUTSCHI has gained acclaim as an adventurous performer with a wide-ranging repertoire, equally as at home in the classic repertoire as with 20th and 21st century works. In past seasons she has performed the Britten Concerto, Poul Ruders' Conerto No. 1, Steven Mackey's Violin Sonata and Mendelssohn's rarely played D minor Concerto, along with stan¬dards: Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Berg Concerti.
